SUNRISE MEDICAL Empulse R10 push device is designed to support the attendant pushing the wheelchair. Whether uphill, or for long trips, R10 can help in various situations. The newly designed folding mechanism provides easy operation as well as fast docking & undocking. The folding ability and lightweight of R10 allow a smooth transport attached or separate from the wheelchair. In addition, R10 push device fits on almost any wheelchair (box frame, tube diameter 20-28mm).
Empulse R10 offers two types of push assistance mode -Automatic Assistance Mode & Constant Speed Assistance Mode.
Automatic Assistance Mode :
The system is automatically unlocked when the user holds the push handle, at which point there is no need to press the touch button to push the wheelchair, the system will generate a boost effect according to the current speed of the wheelchair; the faster the user walks, the bigger the boost effect, thus enabling the matching of different step rates to meet different user needs. By adjusting the gears, the booster effect can be changed to meet the needs of different loads.
Constant Speed Assistance Mode :
When pressing the button, the chair will move at the current selected speed, beneficial for the uphill movement.
